  • Operate and maintain surface mount technology equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Verify PCB identification, program name, conveyor width, solder paste, and mistake proofing to ensure accurate production.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Install and repair electronic components, including resistors and capacitors, as needed.
  • Conduct visual inspections of SMT assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate job tracking records and adhere to manufacturing instructions.
  • Perform hands-on problem-solving, reading, and preparing work instructions.
  • Participate in 6S practices to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Focus on quality control and safety management.
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small parts and components.
  • Able to identify electronic components, polarities, and location designators.
  • Understanding of Bill of Materials and Drawings.
  • Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of pick and place automated assembly machines.
