Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician I to join our team at PRG Real Estate. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs and services to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of the community's condition and take prompt action to correct any safety hazards
  • Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager
  • Assist in preparing vacant units for occupancy and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Report all major repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager prior to any expenditure of funds
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of building maintenance experience or equivalent required
  • Technical training in one or more trades preferred
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance principles and procedures
  • Ability to maintain high ethical standards and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license required
