Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper (Acute Care) to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Housekeeper (Acute Care), you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff by responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
  • Restock linens, toiletries, and other supplies as needed.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
  • Participate in infection control and prevention initiatives to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
