Job Title: Child Development Specialist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism reach their full potential.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Child Development Specialist to deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6 in our clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, psychology, or a related field, and be certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

Responsibilities:
  • Implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles
  • Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification
Requirements:
  • Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training)
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive
