Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team in Augusta, GA. As a key member of our global data team, you will work closely with regional executive leaders to solve North America business challenges and support a major transformation project.
Key Responsibilities- Gain an in-depth understanding of business requirements across multiple functional areas through close collaboration with North America business leaders.
- Deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers by analyzing data and identifying critical metrics and KPIs.
- Work closely with Global Director of Master Data Management & Business Intelligence and Regional IT project managers to support global standardization project and the roll out of a transformational global ERP solution.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
- Design and maintain master data, including creation, updates, and deletion, and fix data errors and other data-related problems.
- Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity, with an eye for what drives business performance.
- Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.
- Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting appropriate combination of methods and tools within defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- 4+ years of work experience as a data analyst with proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization.
- Attention to detail with an analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving.
- Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be in Augusta, GA (minimum 50% of the time).
- Prior experience with manufacturing sector and familiarization with relevant data entities.
- Strong programming experience with databases (SQL), ETL frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with JD Edwards and its database schema.
- Knowledge of designing or maintaining reports using HUBBLE.
- Microsoft 365 Dynamics experience.
