Job Summary:

Morgan Advanced Materials is a global organization with a rich history and innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team in Augusta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. They will work closely with regional executive leaders to solve North America business challenges and support a major transformation project.

Key Responsibilities:

Gain an in-depth understanding of business requirements across multiple functional areas
Ally with local organizational leaders to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs
Deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend system modifications
Design and maintain master data, including creation, updates, and deletion
Analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics
4+ years of work experience as a data analyst with proven analytic skills
Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be in Augusta, GA (minimum 50% of the time)

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with manufacturing sector and familiarization with relevant data entities
Strong programming experience with databases (SQL), ETL frameworks
Strong knowledge of and experience with JD Edwards and its database schema
Knowledge of designing or maintaining reports using HUBBLE
Microsoft 365 Dynamics experience
