Job Description

Erias Ventures is a dynamic company that values innovation and entrepreneurship. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HPC Infrastructure Administrator to join our team.

This role is responsible for overseeing the most critical aspects of our HPC and Datacenter Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, VMware, and infrastructure management, with experience in leading strategic planning, architecture design, and deployment of enterprise-scale projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for solving complex technical issues, contributing to IT strategy, and driving innovations to ensure the robustness, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure. They will also lead medium-to-large scale projects, design and implement system policies, conduct advanced troubleshooting, and be pivotal in direct recovery efforts during critical system failures.

In addition, the Senior HPC Infrastructure Administrator will mentor junior staff members and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a system administration or similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification
  • VMware Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, or Red Hat Certified Engineer certification (a plus)
  • Mastery of the VMware ecosystem and extensive experience in Hyper-converged Infrastructure environments
  • Knowledge of Performance Optimized Datacenter (PODs), CentOS, and RHEL 7/8/9 system administration
  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and Centrify for identity management
  • Proficiency in using Nagios and Splunk for comprehensive system monitoring and analytics
  • Advanced skills in automation shell scripting, automation, streamlining, and system configuration using tools like Salt and Ansible
  • Experience with Linux provisioning server tools like Kickstart and Cobbler
  • Strategize and supervise extensive security protocols using Tenable Nessus
  • Govern account and access management landscapes using Centrify and Active Directory
  • Innovate security mitigation methodologies to fortify enterprise infrastructure against evolving cyber threats
  • Enterprise-level management of Hyper-converged Infrastructure, vendor hardware, and software across multiple data centers
  • Experience using Atlassian's team collaboration software suite like Jira and Confluence
