Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at ESC, Inc. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of virtualization technologies, network administration, and security measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement VMware virtual infrastructure solutions, including scalability and high availability considerations.
  • Manage and configure VDI environments, network services, and Microsoft server operating systems.
  • Provision and manage virtual machines, as well as administer Microsoft Active Directory and databases.
  • Develop and implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats.
  • Apply STIGs to IT systems and document results, and develop RMF security policy and procedures documents.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in system administration and network administration, with a focus on virtualization and security.
  • VMware certifications (such as VCP, VCAP, VCIX) are highly desirable.
  • MCSE certification or other Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
  • Cisco certifications are highly desirable.
  • 8140/8570 IAT Level III is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Linux and proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of network and host hardening, as well as Splunk and Trellix security and vulnerability products.
