As a Sterile Processing Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of sterility and cleanliness in our medical equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sterilization and disinfection procedures to prevent the spread of infection.
- Conduct thorough inspections of medical equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with sterile processing standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any issues related to sterility and cleanliness.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on sterile processing procedures and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sterile processing and medical equipment technology.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Sterile Processing Service (SPS) environment.
- Current certification in CRCST and BLS.
- US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with medical equipment sterilization and disinfection procedures.
- Knowledge of microbiology and its application to sterile processing.
- Working knowledge of medical and surgical terminology, human anatomy, and physiology.
