Medical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Installer to join our team at STERIS - Commercial Operations. As a Medical Equipment Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of medical equipment, ensuring that it is properly configured and functioning as intended.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Installation Project Managers to schedule equipment installation and ensure timely completion.
- Verify equipment specifications and ensure that doorways, elevators, and hallways are sufficient for equipment transport.
- Perform installation of STERIS products, including uncrating, assembling, and testing.
- Complete service documentation electronically and provide daily updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through post-installation activities, including disposal of packing materials and addressing customer questions.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when working with customers, contractors, and management.
- High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience or an Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in computers and Windows software.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Flexibility to handle multiple priorities and work flexible hours.
- Routine walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and grasping.
- Lifting/lowering/carrying 1 to 35 pounds and occasionally lifting/lowering 36 to 49 pounds.
