ASM Global is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center location. As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the sales team to market the venue and develop event-related promotions to increase revenue.
- Assist in the development of marketing plans, including goals and advertising strategies.
- Carry out specific marketing plans relating to events, utilizing support from advertising as requested by the Director.
- Assist in carrying out ongoing social media posts across various platforms.
- Supervise employees or interns in the Sales and Marketing Department, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Associate degree from a two or four-year college or university in Marketing, Hospitality, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of sales-related experience required.
- Facility/industry experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise staff and prioritize multiple projects.
- High aptitude for figures and advanced writing skills.
- Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet software and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
