Position Overview:
As a Perioperative Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing essential care services, including the transport of patients, specimens, and equipment, along with maintaining cleanliness and managing linens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure thorough cleaning of the operating room (OR) suite to facilitate efficient turnover and maintain hygiene in shared perioperative spaces.
  • Assist in the safe transfer, transport, and positioning of patients, adhering to proper body mechanics.
  • Support the setup of the OR for each surgical case by ensuring necessary equipment is available and properly arranged. After procedures, assist in cleaning and organizing equipment.
  • Handle and transport specimens in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain inventory levels by stocking shelves with supplies, linens, and fluids, and assist in the daily organization of warehouse deliveries.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in patient care is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • BLS Certification is mandatory.
