Job Overview:

The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for providing support to school operations, teachers, and students in all areas of instruction and the learning environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervising student arrivals, dismissal, and late-arrivals.
  • Assisting teachers during assigned specials classes such as art, music, dance, science, Spanish, and Physical Education on a daily basis.
  • Monitoring students during assigned periods within a variety of school environments.
  • Maintaining a neat and orderly classroom by straightening out chairs, tables, and clearing chalkboards, etc.
  • Supporting after-school and family events, as necessary.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) required. At least 2 years of experience in an urban school setting required. Strong commitment to an inclusion model of education required.

Compensation:

$45,000 per year. Health insurance, dental, vision, and 403b Retirement Plan. Paid Time Off/Paid Sick Leave/Parental Leave/FMLA. Short-term, Long-term Disability benefits and Life Insurance.
