We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our roadways team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising inspectors on major transportation projects in Western/Central Pennsylvania.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Project Preparation**: Review drawings to prepare for inspections and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available.
  • **Field Measurements**: Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation and ensure accuracy.
  • **Site Inspections**: Inspect worksites for proper traffic control setup and ensure compliance with applicable permits.
  • **Materials Management**: Monitor and record materials certifications in accordance with client procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • **Education and Experience**: High school diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diploma. Minimum of five (5) years construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects, including a minimum of two (2) years supervising and/or managing inspectors.
  • **Certifications**: Must have three (3) of the following certifications: NICET Level 3 or higher, ACI Concrete Certification, PennDOT - NECEPT Concrete Certification, NECEPT Asphalt, or Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience.
