Job Summary

Vail Health Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Computed Tomography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT and radiographic examinations, ensuring image quality, patient safety, and radiation safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination Performance: Perform all CT examinations according to Vail Health protocols, ensuring technical accuracy and patient satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring cleanliness and stock in the exam room.
  • Patient Communication: Identify each patient, review exam orders, and ensure consistency of demographic information.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Maintain collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, co-workers, and the healthcare team.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to department policies, safety, environmental standards, and infection control standards.
  • Computer Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in Vail Health HIS and PACS computer systems for patient documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with CT credentials.
  • Credentials: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Computed Tomography (CT) credentials: R.T.(R )(CT)(ARRT) required.
  • Education: Must possess proficiency in the English language.
Additional Information
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks.
  • Shifts: Days, 3x12 hours.
  • Travel Requirements: Travelers may be required to float to local facilities.
