Job Title: Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse

Core Dialysis is seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis procedures in acute care settings.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to perform acute dialysis procedures in the Clear Lake area. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer dialysis procedures to acute care patients, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and provide appropriate care and support.
  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, administer, and document all prescribed medications within your scope of practice.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed within your scope of practice.
  • Adhere to all patient-specific and facility-level policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Provide safe and effective dialysis procedures in compliance with Core Dialysis standards and state and federal regulations.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly with the healthcare facility team and Core Dialysis team to ensure consistency in dialysis procedure processes.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
  • Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of 2 years of acute nursing experience, with a focus on acute dialysis preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex patient needs.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks including patient handling and emergency response.
  • Ability to work effectively and critically think in a fast-paced and at times emergency environment.
  • Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts.
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
