Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Personal Banker I to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a Personal Banker I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with clients, and promoting bank products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales: Cross-sell bank products or services to existing and potential customers through in-person sales sessions, phone calls, written correspondence, and external sales calls.
  • Service: Answer questions or resolve complex technical problems on customer accounts, perform bookkeeping duties related to account balancing and reconciliations, and complete special requests.
  • Other Duties: Maintain accurate records of sales production, prepare monthly reports, and comply with bank operations, security, and compliance procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent, with some post-high school education preferred.
  • Skills: Basic mathematical principles, knowledge of computer keyboard and ten key adding machine, and ability to cross-sell FCB products and services.
  • Knowledge: Current compliance-related issues and new and updated regulations.
Work Environment

This position is performed primarily indoors in an office setting. The physical and mental demands of this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential position accountabilities.
