Daily Responsibilities:

Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support a prominent defense client. This role involves collaborating with the U.S. Army's Ground Combat Systems program in an international context. The position is primarily onsite one day a week, with core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM. The Facilities Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring that international partners have the necessary facilities and capabilities to maintain and support ground combat vehicles effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing space allocation and identifying potential bottlenecks in manufacturing processes.
  • Recommending solutions to improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Reviewing facility designs and collaborating with international partners to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Identifying any deficiencies and working on modifications for enhanced functionality.
  • Utilizing engineering expertise to enhance the performance of existing facilities.
  • Planning for future expansion and capacity increases within partner facilities.
  • Providing recommendations for infrastructure enhancements.

This position does not require international travel but may involve domestic travel within the U.S. for collaboration with local industrial partners.
