About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Master's level social work intern to join our team. As a social work intern, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across the lifespan in various settings, including home, school, and community. You will also have the chance to develop your clinical skills and work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Develop professional relationships with clients and provide services within your scope and as clinically appropriate.
  • Maintain ongoing frequent contact with other assigned OhioGuidestone professionals, parents, or outside agency professionals assigned to case.
  • Assume a strong advocacy role for clients and make recommendations for clinical and support services needed upon discharge.
  • Actively participate in treatment conferences and meetings for clients.
  • Complete all paperwork required by the agency within designated time frames.
  • Participate in agency and community meetings as needed.
Requirements
  • Trainee status: CT, MFT-T, SWT is required for working with clients in Graduate level Internships.
  • Required education is working towards a Master's Degree in Social Work.
  • Strong desire to make an impact and mission-driven.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required.
  • Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records.
  • Must be able to access work locations, including agency offices, school-based settings, and places in the community.
