About the Opportunity

Fortune School of Education is seeking a highly skilled Field Supervisor to join our team. As a Field Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the development of interns, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with district interns
  • Provide guidance and support to interns, including observing and assessing their classroom practices
  • Complete and collect all required documentation through Fortune's Learning Management System
  • Participate in program meetings and contribute to the development of interns
Requirements
  • Masters' degree in Education or a related field from a regionally accredited university
  • Clear California teaching credential or California Administrative Services credential
  • Exemplary record of teaching and experience coaching/mentoring beginning teachers
  • Ability to provide resources for addressing the needs of English Learners and Students with Special Needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team
Working Conditions
  • Ability to conduct group training and exchange information in person, electronically, and over the telephone
  • Ability to read printed material and computer screens, and understand speech at normal levels
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment
  • Ability to climb stairs, bend, reach, walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time
Compensation

$33 - $82.50 per hour, with additional compensation for formal observations and video submissions
