Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment
  • Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive, patient-centered work environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a medical office or healthcare facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
