Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned engineer to join our dynamic Energy Solutions team. This role is pivotal in driving our performance contracting initiatives, ensuring that we deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage potential clients by introducing and elucidating the concept of performance contracting.
  • Communicate the unique value proposition of Legence in the realm of performance contracting.
  • Oversee the development phase, which includes conducting site assessments, energy audits, and performing energy calculations.
  • Lead the engineering design team in creating detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Manage the bidding process effectively.
  • Formulate the final contractual agreements with clients.
  • Collaborate with construction managers to facilitate a seamless construction phase.
  • Supervise the commissioning process to ensure project success.
  • Provide support during the warranty phase as necessary.
  • Coordinate with measurement and verification professionals to produce the initial year M&V report.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm.
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Leadership and management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of construction processes.
  • Expertise in energy systems.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design.
  • Experience in auditing and consulting.
