About Asante Health System
We are a well-respected and reputable cardiology group, recognized for excellence in patient care for over 40 years. Our team of experienced cardiologists serves 9 counties in Southern Oregon and Northern California, with an award-winning partnership with Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford.
Job Overview
We seek a highly skilled general or invasive cardiologist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy cardiology practice with patients needing immediate attention. You will have a positive impact right away and be part of a dominant provider in Southern Oregon due to the value we provide to the community.
Responsibilities and Opportunities
As a cardiologist with our team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your entire skill set, caring for patients in clinic and the hospital, serving as primary cardiologist on-call, reading echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac CT tests. You will also perform trans-esophageal echocardiograms and cardiac catheterization procedures if desired. Additionally, you can focus on interests such as cardiac MRI, cardio-oncology, pulmonary hypertension, sports cardiology, and more.
Autonomy and Support
We value autonomy, allowing each cardiologist to determine their own clinic schedule, make call swaps, and choose when they go on vacation. Experienced support is always available to discuss challenging patients, and you will be part of a strong, collaborative team that strengthens the integrity, collegiality, and quality of our practice.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary guaranteed for the first year, signing bonus, relocation assistance, four weeks of vacation, one week of CME, health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. Call duties are equally shared among cardiologists, and there is a one-year track to partnership.
Location and Lifestyle
Medford and the surrounding area offer year-round activities and adventures, including hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, boating, golfing, and world-renowned fly-fishing. With a ski resort just 40 minutes away, downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing are easily accessible. The Pacific coast and Crater Lake National Park are within a 2-hour drive, and great private and public schools make it an excellent place to raise kids.
Earning Potential: $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience.
