Job Summary:The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, house attendants, and laundry attendants.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to ensure that they meet Hilton's standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve housekeeping efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the interviewing, hiring, and training of housekeeping staff.
- Manage housekeeping budgets and inventory, including linen and amenities.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton's safety and security policies and procedures.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
- Previous commercial housekeeping experience preferred.
- High school diploma required; college degree in hospitality management preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
