Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Steamboat Pilot & Today. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a Team of Housekeeping Staff: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to new hires to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Room Standards: Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to maintain our high standards.
  • Communicate with Guests and Staff: Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and communicate with other departments to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Previous Supervisory Experience: One year of supervisory experience in a hospitality or housekeeping environment is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with guests, staff, and other departments on a daily basis.
  • Attention to Detail: You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality in all areas of the hotel.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing, walking, and lifting, and you must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
