Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Clinical Coordinator in our Emergency Room department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical and departmental activities, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical and departmental activities, including shift charge, department, and/or service line management.
  • Ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between physicians and the patient care team, maintaining open communication and promoting cooperation among unit staff and other departments.
  • Supervise staff, authorize work procedures, and assign duties to ensure efficient and effective operation of the unit.
  • Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the use of the nursing process and adherence to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of six months of direct RN experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures.
