Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Design Systems Engineer to join our team in Linthicum, Maryland. As a key member of our Microelectronics Design and Applications (MDA) team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new technologies to support emerging supercomputing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the trade study definition, metrics development, and evaluations for the use of novel technologies to aid in the development of support tools and target transformational computing systems.

Collaborate with Systems Engineering on architectural studies and review designs and analysis.

Support the implementation of digital and mixed system architectures and algorithms.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other STEM discipline with 5 years of digital engineering experience using industry standard simulation tools; 3 years with an MS degree; 0 years with PhD.

Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Tools and ASIC Specification generation and verification.

Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly clearance per business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with DSP, MATLAB, and SimuLink.

Experience with the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Tool Quartus.

Generation of Test Benches and support of formal VHDL Verification.

Competitive salary range: $102,400 - $160,900.
