Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/EMT to join our team as a Primary Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assist our physicians in delivering primary health care and patient care management in a residential setting.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare for daily visits by maintaining supplies and preparing routes to scheduled visits
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by corresponding with physicians or advanced practice providers
  • Drive company vehicles and transport physicians or advanced practice providers to patient visits
  • Document, label, store, and properly package patient specimens and information in compliance with CLIA standards for accurate processing and testing
  • Perform all clinical duties while observing OSHA and HIPAA requirements
  • Assist with minor procedures as necessary
  • Manage company vehicles through routine cleaning, maintenance, gas receipts, and mileage
Qualifications
  • Active CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate of completion from an accredited medical assistant, phlebotomy, or related medical education/training program, or 1 year of experience as a medical assistant
