We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist Program as a Nocturnist. In collaboration with a licensed physician, the successful candidate will provide clinical services to patients while hospitalized, working closely with hospital management personnel, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Extend clinical services in the delivery of healthcare to patients while hospitalized
- Perform administrative duties related to the practice of medicine
- Work effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy
- Complete and maintain adequate and proper medical records
- Comply with all Medical Staff Bylaws and policies, and Hospital Bylaws, policies, rules, and regulations
- Participate as a provider of medical services with third-party payers
- Conduct yourself at all times in a manner consistent with and promoting the Hospital's mission and values
- Registered Texas license (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- DEA and DPS registrations
- Appropriate eligibility or certification under applicable specialty Board
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications
- CME as required
