Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

We are looking for a Non-Certified Technician (NCT) who excels in providing expert care and is dedicated to patient advocacy. Our team is exceptional, and we are eager to welcome someone who shares our passion for patient care.

As an NCT, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting timely and accurate radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
  • Performing quality assurance checks on radiologic equipment.
  • Administering drug screenings, urinalysis, and other laboratory tests, including specimen processing for external labs.
  • Maintaining detailed records of activities, including lab work, drug tests, and radiology services.
  • Adhering to occupational client preferences and protocols.
  • Assisting with general patient care as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a clinical environment is advantageous.
  • A Non-Registered Technician (NCT) license in your state of residence, if mandated.
  • Ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Must secure Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Drug Screening Certifications within 3 months of employment.
  • For Texas applicants: NCT License from the Texas Department of State Health Services is required.

The CareNow Urgent Care Clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 9 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm, and Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm. Flexibility to work during these hours is essential.
