Job Title: Avionics MechanicAbout the Job:
The Army National Guard is seeking skilled Avionics Mechanics to join our team. As an Avionics Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical systems of aircraft operate properly. This includes performing maintenance on tactical communications-security, navigation, and flight control equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform operational and preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics, and controlled cryptographic equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment using technical manuals and schematic drawings
• Inspect and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, electrical connections, and the repair and/or replacement of instruments
Requirements:
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements
• Must be a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
