Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Donation Attendant. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, receiving donations, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to donors and customers, ensuring a positive experience and promoting sales for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona.
  • Receive and process donations in a timely and courteous manner, accurately labeling and placing items in the production room or sales floor.
  • Ensure that donors receive a receipt for their donation, regardless of its size.
  • Identify and address any potential hazardous products being donated, providing customers with information on proper disposal.
  • Assist customers with loading and unloading furniture or other items, maintaining a safe and efficient process.
  • Maintain the organization and placement of merchandise, adhering to PPM standards and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers, as needed, and safely operate pallet jacks and walkie stackers.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment, ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform floor care duties as needed, maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Participate in cross-training in other store positions as business needs dictate.

Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to pass a forklift certification class and operate equipment safely.
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
