Health and Wellness Director

At Franciscan Ministries, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health and Wellness Director to join our team at Addolorata Villa, a vibrant senior living community in Wheeling, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight to the wellness team and ensure delivery of quality care to all residents.
  • Oversee and monitor the activities of nursing personnel, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and review of investigations of incidents and accidents.
  • Oversee the infection control program and assist in staff education on areas of improving nursing care and safety issues.
  • Manage and coordinate the Memory Care Neighborhood, providing support and care to residents with dementia.
  • Support and uphold the Mission and Philosophy of Franciscan Ministries, serving as a role model and demonstrating loyalty and pride in the community.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of clinical experience/leadership in Assisted Living/Memory Support.
  • Licensed Nurse (Registered Nurse preferred) with current state licensure.
  • High degree of integrity, strong communication skills, and ability to lead change.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and deadlines, and work effectively with residents, staff, and support agencies.
  • Proficient in electronic health records, with Point Click Care experience preferred.
