  • Monitor vital signs and perform necessary tests/specimen collection.
  • Report any changes in a resident's condition to a nurse promptly.
  • Utilize appropriate equipment for resident transfers and mobility support.
  • Document all nursing care provided to ensure adherence to the care plan and facilitate communication.
  • Ensure residents' comfort and satisfaction with their care.
  • Respond promptly to residents' requests and call lights.
  • Instill confidence in residents through competent and compassionate care.
  • Foster strong working relationships with fellow staff members.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident and organizational information.
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with state regulations and accepted standards of practice.
  • Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Specific Requirements:
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all resident care information.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary, including managing emails and document handling.
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Ability to interact tactfully with staff, residents, families, and the public.
  • Effective communication skills regarding resident information.
  • Willingness to adapt to new methods and incorporate them into daily tasks.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and company policies.
  • Present a neat appearance and comply with uniform requirements.
  • Exhibit patience, tact, and a positive demeanor, especially when dealing with challenging situations.
  • Be open to reassignment of duties as necessary to ensure comprehensive care for all residents.
Experience:
  • Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in accordance with state laws.
Education:
  • A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program is mandatory.
