- Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to, mobility support, personal hygiene, and any specific needs outlined in the care plan.
- Monitor vital signs and perform necessary tests/specimen collection.
- Report any changes in a resident's condition to a nurse promptly.
- Utilize appropriate equipment for resident transfers and mobility support.
- Document all nursing care provided to ensure adherence to the care plan and facilitate communication.
- Ensure residents' comfort and satisfaction with their care.
- Respond promptly to residents' requests and call lights.
- Instill confidence in residents through competent and compassionate care.
- Foster strong working relationships with fellow staff members.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and organizational information.
- Perform assigned tasks in accordance with state regulations and accepted standards of practice.
- Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all resident care information.
- Basic computer skills are necessary, including managing emails and document handling.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to interact tactfully with staff, residents, families, and the public.
- Effective communication skills regarding resident information.
- Willingness to adapt to new methods and incorporate them into daily tasks.
- Adhere to safe work practices and company policies.
- Present a neat appearance and comply with uniform requirements.
- Exhibit patience, tact, and a positive demeanor, especially when dealing with challenging situations.
- Be open to reassignment of duties as necessary to ensure comprehensive care for all residents.
- Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in accordance with state laws.
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program is mandatory.
