Responsibilities

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is seeking a Neonatologist to enhance its practice at a leading women's hospital.

  • Our services are provided at a facility that is part of a prominent health system.
  • Engage in a busy 11-bed, Level-II NICU.
  • Manage approximately 236 annual NICU admissions with an average daily census of 6.
  • Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians supported by NNPs.
  • The hospital focuses on the specialized needs of women and newborns.
  • Participate in all c-sections and pre-term deliveries under 34 weeks.

The location is centrally situated in the state, offering easy access to major cities and beautiful beaches. Known for its numerous lakes and outdoor activities, the area provides ample opportunities for boating, fishing, and nature exploration. With a lower-than-average cost of living and no state income tax, it presents an attractive living environment.

Qualifications

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatology.
