We are looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient patient care. If you are passionate about patient care and thrive in a supportive environment, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including evaluating breath sounds and airway integrity.
- Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery and aerosol treatments.
- Assist in the placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy and communicate with healthcare providers as necessary.
- Support the transport of patients requiring ventilatory assistance.
- Respond to emergency situations, ensuring airway management and adequate ventilation.
Qualifications:
- State certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification.
- Completion of an accredited two-year respiratory care program.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification required within six months of hire.
