SENIOR TAX MANAGER
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting.
- Preferred expertise in Trust, Estate, and Gift taxation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in various accounting software applications.
- Strong organizational skills and the capability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and clients.
- CPA certification, EA, or a Juris Doctor degree is mandatory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative and proactive tax planning, consulting, and compliance services for both individuals and businesses in a timely manner.
- Possess specialization and experience in preparing individual and business tax returns, particularly for flow-through entities.
- Ensure comprehensive client and team satisfaction through transparent communication, managing timelines, and proactively sharing strategies for tax savings.
- Collaborate with Partners, Directors, Senior Managers, and staff on client management, professional growth, and business development initiatives.
- Oversee and mentor associate and senior associate team members to manage their responsibilities and deadlines on client projects.
- Enhance skills to attract new clients and promote the company's services, facilitating business growth with existing clients.
- Stay informed about legislative or professional changes and consult with clients regarding potential impacts.
- Participate in client development through networking opportunities and represent the firm professionally within the business community.
- Exhibit a continuous commitment to the Firm's Culture and Values as well as Client Service Principles.
- Demonstrate communication skills, intuition, and resourcefulness that inspire others to develop similar competencies.
