**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage and review complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and individuals
* Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients to optimize their tax positions
* Supervise, mentor, and develop staff members and junior accountants
* Conduct tax research and stay updated on current tax laws and regulations
* Identify and mitigate tax risks for clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
* Collaborate with the firm's partners to enhance client relationships and identify opportunities for new business
* Handle tax audits and respond to tax notices from various authorities
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication
* Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and extensions

**Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's in Taxation preferred
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
* In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance for individuals and businesses
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff
* Experience with tax software (e.g., CCH, ProSystem, or similar)
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
