We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintaining multi-family housing units and will be responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate experience in managing maintenance tasks within multi-family complexes.
- Possess 3-5 years of comprehensive maintenance experience relevant to the multi-family sector.
- Maintain reliable transportation for daily travel to various job sites.
- Hold a valid Driver's License.
- Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills for effective repairs, including:
- Appliance maintenance, garbage disposal, washer/dryer repairs, electrical systems, plumbing, etc.
- Receive a vehicle allowance of $10-15 per day.
- Be prepared to work and travel within the Kansas and Missouri regions.
- Bring your own tools to commence work immediately.
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for addressing service requests from residents and conducting preventative maintenance and repairs across the properties. Additionally, this role may involve assisting with property preparations, grounds maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the Regional Maintenance Manager or Community Manager. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues, plumbing, general carpentry, and appliance repairs is essential for managing the daily maintenance operations effectively.
