Position Overview:
Middlebury College is on the lookout for two dedicated Full-Stack Developers to join our dynamic team. The Full-Stack Developer plays a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, which includes analysis, design, coding, documentation, testing, integration, and implementation of applications that bolster the operational capabilities of our enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the reliability and resilience of Middlebury's enterprise administrative tools and services.
  • Evaluate technical applications to ensure alignment with Middlebury's technical vision while fulfilling client objectives.
  • Work alongside a business analyst to enhance operational efficiencies through business process analysis.
  • Assist in data analysis within relational databases.
  • Develop technical specifications based on business requirements for daily operations.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical specifications for system implementations and significant institutional projects.
  • Research new software features and develop training materials to support workgroup managers.
  • Provide quality assurance (QA) plans or testing for client solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a technical domain with a focus on software development, data analysis, business management, or technical project management.
  • Experience in higher education is preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning, enterprise reporting, and enterprise database applications is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and planning skills.
  • Experience in developing presentations or materials to convey information effectively.
  • Proven experience with SQL is required.
