CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our pharmacy, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Lead and direct a team of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to ensure that our pharmacy operates efficiently and effectively.
- Patient Safety: Ensure that our pharmacy adheres to all regulatory requirements and industry standards for patient safety, including proper handling and storage of medications.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that our pharmacy meets or exceeds industry standards for quality and service.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Inventory Management: Manage our pharmacy's inventory, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies.
- Financial Management: Manage our pharmacy's finances, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our pharmacy complies with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Licensure: Active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed.
- Certifications: Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
