Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and treating children with speech and language disorders. This will involve developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat children with speech and language disorders

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders
  • Provide therapy sessions to children with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and psychologists, to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Current, active license as a Speech Pathologist (SLP, SLPL, SLP-CCC) or be eligible for licensure
  • At least one year of experience in speech therapy
  • Experience working in a school or treatment setting for students with learning or social/emotional problems
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance
  • Working knowledge of standard business practices and procedures
  • Computer-literate; knowledge of standard company software applications, internet
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Problem-solving ability and proven accuracy with detailed information
  • Proficient written and verbal English language communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manner
  • Reliability, dependability and flexibility
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with children, parents, and other professionals. The position requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.

The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
