Job Overview

In this role, you will work with traders, analysts and quant research to develop advanced analytics products that drive technical platform build and identify projects that further support our business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop data and analytics solutions across commodities business lines.
  2. Apply new or advanced methods and technologies to build value across the Commodities business.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's/Masters/PhD in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a related quantitative and problem-solving discipline with strong academic performance from a leading university.
  • Proven experience working with large weather data sets from ECMWF, GFS, Commodities Weather Group, etc.
  • Understanding of sub-seasonal to seasonal teleconnections to mid-latitude weather.
  • Strong Python development and modelling skills, familiar with standard data science libraries and visualisation (streamlit, dash).
