Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role involves providing services to students across grades K-12 in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, focusing on evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure comprehensive and coordinated services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state license in Texas.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
