The Financial Operations Supervisor role is a full-time opportunity, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility for evening and weekend hours may be necessary based on job responsibilities.

Role Purpose:

This position entails overseeing the financial processes of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations, ensuring robust internal controls are established.
  • Prepare journal entries, analyze financial statements, and execute monthly closings for all entities.
  • Generate financial and management reports for the Executive Team, including the development and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with the CFO and management team to compile data for annual budgeting, strategic planning, and cash flow management.
  • Address complex accounting challenges with sound judgment and initiative.
  • Proactively identify and implement process enhancements.
  • Handle large volumes of data while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency in computer applications and Excel, with a foundational understanding of IT concepts to effectively communicate needs to the IT department.
  • Research and adopt new software solutions as business requirements evolve.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to foster professional growth and support organizational goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, coupled with a minimum of 10 years in public and corporate accounting and finance.
  • Proven management experience.
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • CPA designation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

While fulfilling the essential functions of this role, the employee must be capable of:

  • Remaining stationary for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Occasionally moving throughout the office to utilize equipment and attend meetings.
  • Communicating frequently with clients via phone.
  • Regularly accessing and inputting data into computer systems.
  • Performing effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and manage challenging situations.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily remote, with occasional requirements for in-office attendance.
