Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner with face-to-face patient contact within the past year License: Active Washington state license required Certifications: Will be discussed at the time of credentialing.
Provider responsible for obtaining necessary certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS)Must-Have:
- Clean background with no malpractice considerations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- COVID and flu vaccinations
Job Description:
- Work in an outpatient ambulatory setting, specifically a community health center
- Provide care for a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics, including migrants and refugees
- Deliver family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, and chronic disease management
- Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
- Collaborate with support staff, including a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, and dietitians
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
- Expected to manage a patient load of up to 18 patients per day
- Opportunity for extended shifts with a higher patient load, approved once productivity expectations are met
- Travel logistics such as flight, rental car, mileage, and lodging providedThis role requires dedication to community healthcare and the ability to adapt quickly in providing patient-centered care.
