The Floor Tech plays a crucial role in ensuring that members enjoy the highest standards of service and facility conditions. This position represents the gym floor; you are the first point of contact for members exercising within the facility. It is essential for this individual to possess a friendly attitude and a keen attention to detail. The Floor Tech is accountable for the comprehensive maintenance of the fitness area, equipment, and adjacent spaces, including walls and mirrors.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the General Manager

Job Expectations:
  • Consistently work scheduled shifts and arrive punctually.
  • Present yourself in full uniform: approved shirt, khaki or black athletic pants, and sneakers (maintain a neat and professional appearance).
  • Strive to surpass customer expectations at every opportunity.
  • Engage with customers through eye contact.
  • Offer genuine smiles to customers.
  • Communicate enthusiastically with customers.
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to customers.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and dedication when assisting customers.
  • Maintain a positive and energetic demeanor.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively.
  • Active CPR/AED certification is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

•Perform cleaning and upkeep of the main floor at Retro Fitness.

•Assess equipment for operational efficiency.

•Restock products and supplies as needed.

•Report any facility-related issues to Management.

•Conduct spot cleaning of walls, mirrors, windows, and diamond plating.

•Reorganize weights appropriately.

•Sanitize equipment and upholstery.

•Dust facility areas as required.

•Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Compensation: $12.00 per hour
