Job Summary:
Corporate Ladder is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team in Solon. This key role will play a crucial part in maintaining the company's financial health.

About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing general cost accounting and supporting financial recordkeeping. Your tasks will include preparing and maintaining Balance Sheet reconciliations, cash management, and asset tracking. You will also take ownership of month-end close tasks and drive improvements in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage general cost accounting and support financial recordkeeping.
  • Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations, cash management, and asset tracking.
  • Take ownership of month-end close tasks, driving improvements in financial processes.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Controller on technical accounting issues, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Assist with annual audits and support the Physical Inventory process.
  • File tax forms with federal, state, and local agencies.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial and cost accounting.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or with government/defense contractors is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard business software.
