Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Delivery Specialist to join our team at TransForce. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering materials to customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver materials to customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods, including assistance with unloading and verifying product match for credit requests
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
  • Follow all DOT standards and regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures
  • Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material
  • Work overtime as needed, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • Possession of a DOT Medical Card or ability to acquire one
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs independently
  • Background in warehouse operations and logistics an asset, including shipping, receiving, and delivery experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to interact with diverse groups and individuals
  • Basic digital literacy and willingness to learn new technologies and processes

Salary Range: Estimated salary range is $15.30 - $22.24 per hour, based on location and experience. This role is eligible for bonus or incentive plans, with potential earnings exceeding the base salary range.
