Position Summary
Nuvance Health operates a comprehensive network of hospitals and outpatient facilities, providing a wide range of healthcare services. Our facilities include various hospitals and outpatient centers, along with numerous primary and specialty care practices, ensuring high-quality patient care across the region.Sign-On Bonus: Eligible candidates may receive a $60,000 sign-on bonus, applicable to external applicants with a minimum of one year of current RN Acute Care experience. Internal transfers to bonus-eligible roles do not qualify for this incentive. The bonus will be distributed over a three-year period of continuous full-time employment.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hours per week
Shift: Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend and holidays.
Role Purpose: The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care and providing leadership within the nursing team. This role involves assessing patient needs, planning and executing care activities, and evaluating patient responses to treatment. The nurse will also manage the therapeutic environment and oversee the nursing care provided by team members. The patient population served is determined by the department's scope of services.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN License in Connecticut
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- BLS Certification is mandatory
- CPI Certification required
